This page is for documenting and gathering information on KHS History.
It all started in a one room school house for all grades before 1884. Over the next 125
years Killeen High School students will go to 5 different school buildings with only 3 being high school
only. First was what is now called Rancier Jr High 1949 and then what is now called Fairway Jr high 1952 (
which is to be closed at the end of the 2009 school year ) What is now called Fairway Middle School was
the first school built to be a high school only. Three other High Schools have now also been built in the area.
