The decade of the 50's. The beginning of Rock and Roll, Elvis, Chubby Checker,
and so many others. The Twist, 1959 is the first time 2 people danced without touching.
So we watched the space race start, cars with
wings in the back, Corvettes, Thunderbirds, going to the Drive-In to see all your friends.
Cruising and checking out each others ride.... and each other.
Big News, Gene Horton loaned us 1949 to 1953 year books and they are now on the site.
As of Aug 18 2009, Mrs Bet is mailing us 1954 to 1959 so all will be on in a matter of weeks now...
